Steve & Robbie Schwartz, the owners of Spectrum Construction, have been building custom homes and remodels since 1982. Steve has been a licensed contractor in California since 1982 (Colorado does not license contractors) and is a licensed surveyor as well. Over the years, they have built everything from small additions, vacation cabins, and trophy homes, to a complete subdivision.

The Schwartzes first discovered Pagosa Springs in 1985 while vacationing with relatives. Their love for the great outdoors and the small town atmosphere made it an easy decision to make Pagosa Springs their permanent home in 1996. Both Steve and Robbie are involved in the community through the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs, the Builders Association, and San Juan Outdoor Club.
